Fuck that, if it costs the government thousands of extra dollars they’ll stop using it way sooner than the politicians who get a free vacation for signing the contract will give up their kickbacks and cancel the contracts.
I don’t trust the government to do the right thing, same as I don’t trust Flock either. I don’t care who pays because anyone paying is going to get tired of it eventually and politicians only respond quickly when money is involved.
An interesting thought: any way to send trojan viruses back to flock servers? Seems if each camera is a possible poison pill for their servers, the correct business will be getting shafted.

No, it does not. Cities just cancel the contract, the cameras remain in place for Flock to gather data, and the Law Enforcement to misuse it.
