Wir sind ein internationales Paar und seit etwa zwei Jahren zusammen. Wir besuchen jede Saison die Länder des anderen, aber wenn ich nach Polen reise, muss ich mir von der Arbeit frei nehmen und die Flüge sind extrem teuer. Ehrlich gesagt wird die ganze Situation schwieriger.
Ich würde in naher Zukunft gerne nach Polen ziehen, aber leider spreche ich nicht fließend Englisch und fühle mich daher etwas festgefahren. Ich bin ein 26-jähriger Koreaner. Welche Art von Jobs könnte ich realistischerweise in Polen ausüben?

No english nor polish? That’s a tough one.
Work permit needed bro. Also Korean-only, with poor English… in Poland (where if we have some English it’s also mixed environment with Polish)? Not gonna happen (or super highly unlikely). Your best chances would probably be Korean companies operating in Poland, Korean-speaking customer support, translation-related work if your language skills are strong enough, or roles connected to Korean clients.
And honestly? Faster would be to find some remote job in Korea which allows you to work in EU (working remotely while living in Poland can still involve visa, tax if you’re here more than 6 months, and employment-law issues).
Difficult without English or Polish fluency, but depends on your education or professional background. Work culture can be pretty rough here, though maybe not as bad as Korea. Pay is getting better but still not competitive with salaries in Western Europe. I’d speak to a recruiter or look for Korean companies with offices in Poland.

It would be hard if you didn’t know polish, I think it’s almost impossible without polish or English. Maybe a Korean company, but I’ve heard from other Koreans in Poland that they get Korean work standards in Korean companies even here.
Food delivery maybe. You don’t have a lot of options if you don’t wanna work in a Korean company nor speak Polish/English.
In Wroclaw we have a lots of Koreans at Bielany. Most of work at local Korean shops or LG.
Your only bet is some Korean company. In Poland without polish language it’s hard to find a job. Without Polish and English it’s close to impossible.

How come you are able to maintain such a long distance relationship during 2y if you are not even able to speak English properly.
IMO your best bet is to marry your partner (unless you are same-sex couple, then uhhh), try to obtain a temporary residence permit for family members of a foreigner living in Poland, and then try to think what you can do in Poland.
That’s half of success though. Without knowing either Polish or English, you’ll either be stuck doing the worst jobs that natives don’t want to pick up (construction site, factory worker, elderly care, among others) OR you’ll have to speciallize in some craftsmanship specific to Korea – I’m leaving this up to your imagination and preference, it could be anything ranging from cooking, through korean bookbinding, and ending with woodworking
Though if I were you, I would look into closing the gap in Korea. I imagine that if you aren’t fluent in English/Polish, then instead your partner must be proficient in English and/or Korean

I know that the biggest group of Koreans in Poland lives in Wrocław.
LG Energy Solution factory is near Wrocław and around 5000 Koreans are working there. Because of that there are some Korean restaurants and other services aimed at them.
You can try that, you will work using Korean language but if Poland is your long term goal then I think that you will have to learn Polish or English at least at some point.

People are talking here like only jobs in existence are some high level well paid Jobs like doctor, or lawyer.
If u learn some Basic english which would take you 1 month of proper grind, u could work in some factories, Warehouse, cleaning Jobs, maybe delivery, Uber. Ok they are not dream Jobs. But u want to be here for your partner on first place, not to build your career (at least for now).

What’s your education? Doesn’t matter the language, what’s your education?
Koreans are basically running automative parts production in Poland, particularly around Wrocław and Gliwice (so Lower and Upper Silesia regions). And I wouldn’t be surprised if they would hire any Korean who is crazy enough to move to Poland, as long as you have a degree in anything business or engineering related.

Without good english or polish it is gonna be very hard to be honest. Practice english if you want corporate job or practice polish if you want any other job. 🙂
Maybe try to hire at Samsung (or other Korean corpo) and relocate to Poland within the company.

Without Polish OR English? Maybe a Korean restaurant will employ you or you can make coffee for a Korean manager at a LG plant. If you speak at the level you write and you talk with your girl in English, then you are probably fluent enough to find SOMETHING, but with only Korean you are fucked.
