Apparently she’s not the nicest person out there and is a Scientologist. I also think she felt a bit upset that Ashley Padilla became the “leading woman” in most sketches despite the fact that she was the longest-tenured female cast member

Wow, she wasn’t complete and utter besties with all of her co-workers. Sounds like every other workplace that has a large crew. As long as she wasn’t trying to get people fired and harassing the crew, she sounds fine to me. Not everyone is going to gel. It happens.

When she was first on I thought she was going to be a break out star, but it just never happened. Then I learned about the Scientology and I didn’t want to see her in anything.
I fell out of love with her when she was on a podcast with a friend and they laughed about how she doesn’t pick up her dog shit when she walks it. In NYC. Psychotic behavior
The clip from that vanity fair cast interview or whatever it was where Chloe explains how she pantsed a kid at summer camp and the groups reaction to it was interesting. It was a weird thing to admit in the first place but the way the group, and especially Ashley questioned it made it seem like they just weren’t on the same wavelength with Chloe. She’s still funny but between that and the Scientology schtick she’s a bit of an odd duck

am i the only one who found her annoying? i just never found her appealing or funny in any way. the scientology thing seals the deal. i don’t know how she made it this far, or how she seemed to be in every skit for so long. i am happy she is on the way out. i look forward to the change.

If your family doesn’t leave they are instructed to not have anything to do with you. You are SP. So, it keeps people in. There are probably members on the books who pay for the minimum number of “classes” but don’t otherwise enthusiastically participate in order to keep their families.
They care more about high profile celebrities or big $ members leaving. And being front and center at their events. When they try to leave that’s when the harassment and threats come in.
I didn’t really click with her either
Before she was famous I saw her standup and she did like 30 amazing impressions just one after another and I thought this girl has to be on SNL. They haven’t utilized her talent at all IMO.

Seems like ever since her departure was announced it’s been a slow drip of bad things about Chloe. She doesn’t seem to have left on good terms.

I liked some of her stuff, pretty clear she’s got her share of haters (including loud ones of course)… but anyone trying to stretch these testimonials into a “she was a monstrous diva” narrative is being pretty disingenuous.

idk I’m a pretty casual snl fan but I liked her. people always talking about how Ashley kills it and I’ve found her good, but I haven’t connected with it that much, I find her presence sort of vanilla? but I found Chloe to be different and interesting.

I sold her some shoes when she had first joined the cast. I did not recognize her, and asked her what she did, making small talk like you do as a salesperson. When she told me she worked for Saturday Night Live I asked, “Oh, like as a PA, or…?”
“No, I’m in the cast.” Coldest I’ve ever heard a woman speak, and I’ve been divorced.
