Ein MAGA-Repräsentant hat gerade versucht, Kanada dafür zu verurteilen, dass es den Rauch von Waldbränden in die USA eindringen ließ – und die Kanadier klatschten komisch zurück

Yeah the guy doesn’t realize that the great white north is mostly uninhabited forest and some areas haven’t seen mankind in a century or more if ever. What a rube

The sheer number of articles and posts I’ve seen in the last 24 hours from American politicians and ordinary citizens blaming Canada for the smoke from our devastating wildfires drifting into their precious country is, frankly, mind-blowing. And having the gall to suggest sanctioning us because of where the wind blows things.

Do…..do they not know that the jet stream exists? Do they not realize that smoke doesn’t know borders exist? Maybe not. But then, what does one expect when their country’s educational system has been flowing down the dumper for the last few decades, slowly dumbing down the general population. How quickly they forget how many times Canada has come to their aid to help its brothers and sisters down south fight their own blazes in California. How many times, if any, has America done the same for our own wildfires? I don’t recall any. So, maybe we should reconsider helping in the future, as they clearly are ungrateful for the help we give them.

But of course, we would NEVER do that, because we are Canadians, and we help others in their time of need. Because that is part of what makes this one of the best countries in the world.

      America, do better.

    3. You know what’s next? They will be blaming Canada when it rains or it’s to cold !

Whenever MAGA opens their mouth and tries to justify these idiotic theories just goes to show how stupid they really are. Then the mental gymnastics begins for them to make up lies to make their statement sound true. They hate facts and the truth.

Jfc… we (Canada) have sent aide and assisted in so many American wildfires, not because we had to, but because it’s the right thing to do when people are in danger, and this is how they thank us? We’re choking on the smoke here too but we also get to listen to this BS…

    6. I wonder what all she was doing to protect Canada during the California wild fires a few years back? Maybe she could tell them how to do it!

      Yes!
It’s fucking up our economy, dragging us into endless foreign wars, and ruining our elections.

Hypocrites. If these idiots really cared about their health maybe they should look at their own food supply chain. Chemicals, hormones, and agriculture standards that are outlawed in civilised countries are poisoning US citizens leading to the lower life expectancy than first world nations. Clean up your own „shit hole“ country before you start blaming Canada.

    9. Or maybe — just maybe — we could help them fight the fires instead of blaming them for a natural occurance?

Trump should just build a wall to keep the smoke out and make Canada pay for it.

      Fucking braindead Magats.

Does Canada also make their cold air, snow and ice cross the border each winter?

Because it couldn’t possibly be the climate change science that predicted precisely this (that they continue to deny).

This would be downright hilarious if these people weren’t simultaneously running the country where i live.

    12. Again? Oh yeah, northern Minnesota is actually part of the U.S. they are also burning. It’s not canadas fault that they are on fire, nor is it their fault that smoke is heading southeast into Michigan.

I apologize for the sheer stupidity and ignorance running rampant in this country. We’re not all like that. But MAGA is unfortunately louder.

    14. What’s next – blaming planet Earth for having too much salt in oceans making the water undrinkable?
