      Before those who can stomach watching Trump talk tonight, it might be illuminating to look at some of his past moments. I was thinking about the first time Trump called the 2020 election rigged. It basically happened during his [remarks on election night in 2020](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sf13yOuu-Z4)

      It is a fun watch because he is flailing around, knowing he lost but unable to accept the narcissistic injury. At the same time, it is striking how many steps this man has lost in the last six years.

      Does Trump understand that the GOP won the last election and currently (barely) controls both Congress and the Senate? If US elections are dangerously fraudulent then it was clearly swinging in his favour last election lol.

      Again, if he had anything worth anything, he would and should be presenting it in a court of law. Instead he has nothing and will never be charged for perjury.

      As much as this speech is intended for sowing the seed of doubt amongst his base in an attempt to call the upcoming midterm elections „fraudulent,“ let us not forget that this speech is just as much to provide him a source of Narcissistic supply.

      After watching Stephen Miller speak today on “liberal terrorists” from behind a podium, not a podcast, a Reichstag fire seems almost a certainty. 2026 or 2028, there is a plan for a terrorist attack and the blame has already been decided. Maybe even a proscription list.

      The real scary realization in all of this is that even if Trump just decided to outright fabricate lies of ANY magnitude (eg: We have secured confessions that Barack Obama was working with China to rig the elections and tonight we are arresting him, etc…) a good 30-40% of the country would just swallow it hook line and sinker without even a shred of suspicion. He could easily send the country into an absolute crisis if he took a bold enough swing. Luckily he mostly just stands up there and enjoys the sound of his own voice and never actually gets around to most things he desires to do.

      I would literally rather be on a hot air balloon ride where the operator keeps saying „she’s being weird today“ about the balloon, and then asks if I „know anything about balloons,“ and we are already so high up than watch this garbage….

      Preemptively – I don’t think that an administration or man that can’t manage to be remotely on time for these types of events that they plan, in total, are capable of conducting any sort of investigation into election interference.

      Im going to get downvoted to hell because Reddit but as an outsider (foreigner living in the US so I can’t vote) It would be so easy to shut trump and his stupid election fraud claims establishing voting ids like every other ciuntry in the world.
