Wenn Sveaborg und Svartholm nicht gefallen wären und die Finnen bei Oravais gesiegt hätten, hätte Finnland dann den Finnischen Krieg von 1808–09 gewonnen?

Finland was not participant, it was kingdom of Sweden vs Russia.

Sweden might have won, if they just sided with Napoleon.

No. Sweden did not have enough men to contend against the massive Russian army.

It was the Kingdom of Sweden fighting in the war, not Finland.

‚Finland‘ always lost in the power struggles between Sweden and Russia.

Swedes lost this war due to staff officer incompetency. Individual fights mean nothing when top is rotten.

Honestly I’m glad Sweden lost that war. The first three tsars were kind enough to let us be as autonomus as an occupied territory could.
Then Alexander III rebooted a long tradition of russian bullshit. Then again he started another line of russian bullshittery that got us our independence.
