Finland was not participant, it was kingdom of Sweden vs Russia.

    2. No. Sweden did not have enough men to contend against the massive Russian army.

‚Finland‘ always lost in the power struggles between Sweden and Russia.

Swedes lost this war due to staff officer incompetency. Individual fights mean nothing when top is rotten.

    5. As the staging ground for many battles between two imperialistic powers, Finland and the Finnish people definitely lost.

    6. Honestly I’m glad Sweden lost that war. The first three tsars were kind enough to let us be as autonomus as an occupied territory could.

Then Alexander III rebooted a long tradition of russian bullshit. Then again he started another line of russian bullshittery that got us our independence.
