      American here. This is literally the news station I listened to every morning as a kid getting ready for school. They have this channel playing by default in gyms, restaurants, hotel lobbies, old folks homes, literally anywhere there’s just a public TV sitting out.

      Granted not everyone pays it any mind and it’s usually subtitles only, but the normalization of this type of thinking has been seeping through the cracks of our culture for decades.

      Canada liberated us, get over yourselves, usa joined the war late and claimed credit like that shitty kid in school.
      They’re in their own world spewing lies and bullshit all over and nobody is paying attention anymore and they’ll be left alone in the room talking to themselves and feel betrayed because everyone left.
      I really hope the decent Americans put a stop to this, stop wasting their voting right before their kids grow up on this propaganda and the entire country truly dives in the oligarchic slop it’s already floating in.

      Most Americans don’t travel overseas, this has a huge impact on how they view the world. Add some media which is feeding them lies instead of facts makes that they have pretty much very wrong a perception of what is happening outside of their collective bubble. They are actually nice people but they are not aware they are being screwed over by both the Democrat and Republican parties. The Truman Show is the bubble in which they linger.

      I forgot the quality of life of people depends on how many Superbowls their country has won. You couldn’t pay me to live in America. I’ll happily stay in my “socialist utopia” where I don’t go bankrupt because I get sick sometimes.
