Norway was the only interesting thing in the world cup for me, but that’s more because i’m not a fan of fotball

Argentina hate is so forced. If you think they rob then maybe watch and understand the games. If you hate the country then Spain and England aren’t really any better lol

As an American that isn’t really into soccer, but I like competition in general, I was done watching when America, Japan and finally, Norway was knocked out.
Was planning to cheer for England if they beat us, but the way they flopped around on the pitch and cried to the ref. How the fans gloat about it after, left a bitter taste in my mouth. Now Im hatewatching the rest and hope they get smashed by France in the final.
Worst case scenario either Argentina, Spain, England or France win the World Cup. 🙂
As a non-Norwegian nor a football fan, I was also rooting for Norway since underdogs doing exceptional performances like Cabo Verde were making the competition interesting and unexpected. I’m not especially hating on Argentina but the examples of racism and the rumors of corruption don’t really make me like them very much neither
I’ll go with whoever plays the least dirty. Who is either, I gather, Spain or France. And if they’re equal, France because there is a chicken on their jersey.
I’m rooting for France, they are the last team remaining that actually play entertaining football in my opinion.
I just want england to have the same experience as norway. Dont care if argentina wins or france.

As a finn i was obviously rooting for norway the most and it hurts the way norway lost to england but i will still root for england, anyone but argentina. Out all teams remaining, I think I’d prefer France to win just off the fact that they have been the best team thus far and has convincingly beat the teams it was meant to beat convincingly. They haven’t needed to rely on referees and controversial moments and have progressed purely off their own merit. They also seem to have a good chemistry and play entertainingly and actively promote anti-racism unlike… some. Would be nice for them to avenge argentina if it ever comes to that

First Bosnia, then Croatia, followed by Cabo Verde, and finally my #1 Norway out. Now out of all the teams left. I dislike Spain the least.
I’m a bitter Scot and even I want England to beat Argentina. As long as Argentina doesn’t win the World Cup I’ll be quite happy.
Life will go on. Be greatful for the opportunity to experience this feat by the national team, and maybe there will be more to come in the future.
I mean I’m a barca supporter so I’m rooting for Spain and then Argentina. Out of all 4 left I just hope england doesn’t win. The way anderson, kane and multiple others flopped and played dirty makes me so angry that I would be extremely happy when they lose

Same. I’m sick of the same countries winning. I wouldn’t say it was rigged, but I do feel there has been a slant. I bet they were having a conniption at the Argentina/Cape Verde game.
It’s the same in the US with sports. The sportscaster and media always want the same franchises to win: New York, Boston, LA etc.

I have never put on a game at home before as an adult before the Norway – Brazil game. It was a lot of fun and it is hard not to get drawn in as a Oslo citizen these past weeks.
To be honest I was kind of moving towards becoming more of a general fan of fotball because of the whole thing and my own enjoyment. I have never turned around so fast on a new potential hobby as with the Norway – England game with all the VAR shenanigans and just really weird calls.
FIFA just looks corrupt and terrible, and it is the main event for the whole damn sport.

I want Argentina to win at least 3-0 in the semi against England and France to win 2-1 in the finals. It’s time to teach those lads a lesson.
