Unless I am misreading it, it is ¥800k to the Japanese national per year that the foreigner has to pay them as a “compensation”.

Forgive me for asking, but why would Chinese women, in 2026, want to move to Japan? Salaries are almost at parity levels while COL is lower in China with almost the QOL in big cities. Makes no sense.
