I’d make really really sure of whatever the heck I was driving to would be worth the fuel …
last time I was visiting a friend in Russia (around 1990) I learned that russian a very much used to standing in очередь. Seems not much changed…
That’s a short queue compared to what it’ll be like after summer. And in winter there won’t be radiators in Moscow.
At what point do you think Russians head to the gas station, 1/4th tank? I imagine they will be burning through a decent amount just waiting in line.
I’ve got to wonder how much time is spent waiting.
And you know someone wants roll up into one of the open spots in front of everyone. Slava 🇺🇦!
How does it even work? Let’s say there are 200 cars in line. If each one takes 5 minutes, that’s 1000 minutes or 16 hours? Or if it’s 2 per 5 minutes, they’re waiting 8 hours? Does the person getting in line know they will be there for 8 hours?
Why so many of them are driving „bad west“ car brands?
There’s an easy solution to this problem.

They could have all the gas they need if they just storm that palace nearby 🙂
So apparently Russia is easing restrictions on quality of the gasoline now, allowing much more sulfer content which will cause damage to engines in the long run. Marvelous lol.
At this point I would just ride a bike .
Or having an EV with solar panels at home

It would make more sense for them to make reservations on line to get their tanks filled.
