Man I am a huge Huey Lewis and the News fan. I was really sad when they stopped touring because I never got to see them live. Now I’m just sad for Huey Lewis, it’s really gotta suck to lose something you love like music.

I had a friend who was a professional musician with an orchestra. She said this was basically a risk they all were exposed to. Sad that doing the thing you love could leave you being unable to enjoy it.

      I wish him well.

    3. One of my friends is a physician that is also in a band. They play small local venues about every 3-4 months. One major difference when they play is their music is deliberately lower volume.

Probably the only band I don’t have to wear ear protection.

    4. Meniere’s is NOT caused by exposure to loud music. Sure, it can cause hearing loss, but exposure to high volume is not a known cause of Meniere’s Disease.

I’m still going to concerts even if I have to bite the back of the seat ahead of me like Beethoven
