Unsere Katze Tuga wird seit Sonntagnacht 5. Juli 2026 im Bereich Tangentenweg (Erlenmatt / Rosental), Basel, vermisst.
Letztes Update: Sie wurde zuletzt am Montagmorgen gesehen, als sie versuchte, sich in eine Wohnung im 3. Stock im Tangentenweg 40 zu schleichen. Ein Nachbar sah sie und machte ein Foto, aber leider wussten sie nicht, dass ich nach ihr suchte, und meldeten sich erst 24 Stunden später bei mir. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war Tuga nicht mehr da (sie hat es nicht geschafft, die Wohnung zu betreten, da die Mieter weg waren und die Fenster geschlossen waren).
Tuga ist sehr schüchtern und wird sich wahrscheinlich irgendwo in der Nähe verstecken (Balkone, Eingänge, Keller oder Gärten).

I am sorry to hear that Tuga is still not at home.
I am living nearby, and saw your post on an other platform as well.
Unfortunately I have no info on Tuga, but will keep my eyes open.
Just had an idea and actually there is a group doing it.

If you say, she might be stuck, she could probably be found by K9’s much easier than other missing pets.

I’ve read once to take her litter outside and she might smell it…
Maybe you could put a print on the entry of the impacted buildings, to check their balcony etc. – if you have not done so yet
Put Tuga’s cat litter to the balcony! It will help her to get home.
I wish her safe return to home!
Ask vets or animal saving groups to set traps near the area, might get your cat
Call all vets around, sometimes people find the pets and call them first thing. And have groups of friends walk around at different areas. Also have a toy or anything that’s a noise she recognises. You will find her
