      Such bad luck with Courtois! Poor guy Lammens, first WC game first ball and he fumbles it. Courtois going out was the turning point.

      Lammens flatertje helaas maar ja, die komt koud het veld op. Dat kan je hem niet kwalijk nemen.
      Met Seys wel een nieuwe diamant ontdekt.
      Die kan het nog heel ver schoppen

      Blessures hebben ons niet op ons beste laten spelen, en toch hebben we Spanje enorm lang gefrustreerd en zat een gelijkmaker er in. Sterk toernooi.

      They played very well.
      I’m sure it would’ve been a different story when Courtois was still in the goal. Anyway the defended very well. Proud to be Belgian

      Sprintje van Raskin een vd laatste minuten ook vermelding waard. Seys paar zeer straffe acties. Voor mij besten vd Belgen

      They played with everything they had. It wasn’t the best football they brought but the opponent is very strong. It’s a big difference with playing like this against a bad opponent. Proud of our boys, just a big what if if Onana, Thielemans and Courtois hadn’t gone out…

      They had one of (if not) the greatest comebacks of the world cup against Senegal, a very satisfying asswhooping against the US and messed up Spain’s clean sheet. I was entertained 🙂

      We hebben het goed gedaan, tegen het einde zaten er wel veel op de bank niet door slechte wissels maar veel blessures. Als Courtois er dan ook uit ligt ai ai.

      Spanje was gewoon sterker maar we hebben ze ook wel een paar keer laten schrikken en onze verdediging was goed want met zoveel balbezit en hele tijd op onze helft kwamen ze wel moeilijk echt close.

      Laatste doelpunt was wel dikke pech.

      Tielemans vond ik geweldig dit toernooi echt jammer dat ie hier niet bij was.
      Met zoveel pech is 2 – 1 niet slecht al moesten we wel winnen natuurlijk.

      Seys was echt goed op Yamal

      Zalige ploeg en ons enige verlies was toch maar met een doelpunt, we hebben toch veel mooie dingen gezien.

      Disappointment after the game because we believed in it, but overall proud and good campaign.

      Beforehand it was clear we had to win the group and first knockout game. Stumbled through group win, but then bad luck the best third was senegal. Thumped US. Showed up against Spain and winning was possible. So better than expected, and we can exit with our heads held high.

      Very impressive performance from Seys. I would have never imagined him handling Yamal the way he did. All around this was a surprisingly good group. Special mention to Ngoy and Raskin
