Anything given as a gift to a government minister should belong to the government and should be stored or displayed as appropriate. If this article is accurate, this would be a great way to insult an ally.
You know if he would reverse a certain unpopular policy from the last PM he could have kept it and shot it here in Canada. Instead he will continue to waste a billion dollars going after people who get a background check everyday instead of using the money for things like pharma care.

The previous liberal government has made it extremely difficult to impossible for legal Canadian gun owners to acquire handguns. I would be furious if he kept it.
