Too much paper work to keep that thing legal. Plus it’s doubtful he would have a use for it.

He might not have his PAL. But if rendered inoperable it could be a cool, though intimidating, paperweight on his desk.

    3. Anything given as a gift to a government minister should belong to the government and should be stored or displayed as appropriate. If this article is accurate, this would be a great way to insult an ally.

You know if he would reverse a certain unpopular policy from the last PM he could have kept it and shot it here in Canada. Instead he will continue to waste a billion dollars going after people who get a background check everyday instead of using the money for things like pharma care.

“Starmer had to leave his in Turkey because he couldn’t be arsed to check his bag”

    6. The previous liberal government has made it extremely difficult to impossible for legal Canadian gun owners to acquire handguns. I would be furious if he kept it.

Sure he’s a big wiener but there’s less hypocrisy in turning it over for deactivation or destruction.

    7. Since (I assume) he doesn’t have his RPAL, turning it over to the RCMP to be decommissioned, is the right and legal thing to do.

Why couldn’t he just get the pistol like neutered or something? Make it so it can’t fire I mean. Then it makes for a cool souvenir.

    9. The only 2 countries in NATO where this gun isn’t legal are here and Britain. Pathetic of us, really.
