Surely this isn’t the best use of their time…
Sepp Blatter is a petty thief in comparison to Infantino..
Beyond the obvious Balogun scandal, the leniency shown by referees to Paraguay against Germany and France contrasts sharply with the treatment of Argentina, where a minor foul was enough to disallow a goal….

I wish to see Infantino fall, but does the EU parliament have authority over the application of sports rules in tournaments?
So they want national federations to ask UEFA to ask FIFA to investigate how the decision was made. Yea, right, peak bureaucracy moment.
Nothing will happen. Humans will continue being anaesthetised by football, and thus the corruption will flourish. They know it, you know that they known it, and they know that you know that they know it.
Sports as entertainment matter only for infantile, unintelligent people.
I read somewhere today that following the International Olympic Committee, FIFA may allow Russian national teams (of various age groups) back into tournaments. UEFA, thank God, hasn’t announced anything of the sort yet

lol. If the European Parliament was serious they would look into FIFA entirely not only about a red card that was overturned but I’m assuming some of them might be indicted too.

Nothing will happen. Blatter was removed because of an FBI probe. EU parliament doesn’t have that sort of influence on this yet.
I think they have more important things to do, like defending our rights like digital privacy, rather than whine about a sport committee they have no direct power over it.

Europe asking for a probe is useless. Only when America asks for it like Sepp Blatter. So basically this time around he will not be arrested unless trump is not president anymore
A bit too late. US has asserted strong and firm control over FIFA, an international organization located in Switzerland, Europe. When US started its probe against Sepp Blatter, whole Europe did nothing to stop that.
Now FIFA has completely surrendered, there’s nothing Europe can do now. But it surprises no one, actually. US‘ capital and influence have greatly infiltrated European football.
