    1. tryed last week, pretty good, no weird sauces and relatively low calorie for a conbini sandwitch

It will be like a lot of 7/11 meals: better than it should be, but obviously not as good as real thing

    3. I’d like to try it. I tried the ‘Philly Cheesesteak’ not too long ago. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t the worst convenience store sandwich I’ve ever had.

I saw it but the crispness of the crust that makes a banh mi extra awesome seems to be missing. The flavour will probably be ok though.

    5. They also have chicken kebab, it was ok but price is too close to kebab shop… so better have a real one with more food and meat; hot and freshly made

Luckily, my local bakery regularly makes banh mi. Pretty good too. When they introduced it a several years ago, they pointed out that they’re made by their Vietnamese staff member. No idea if that is still the case, but they still taste great.

Anyways, banh mi is great and I wish people here would like cilantro more. Here’s hoping this helps even a tiny bit 😅

    7. I had it and maybe it was a couple days old but the bread was too dry and soft for a banh mi. The fillings also had next to 0 flavour too… Was bummed out

    8. Will try these. They cant be worse that some I have had from viet restaurants here.

    9. My wife loves Vietnam and Vietnamese food. She said it’s nice, but it’s not Banh Mi.

I didn’t have any, but I think it’s the lack of crust.

It’s hard to complain about convenience stores here. This sandwich got me thinking, so I looked it up…In broader skilled visa categories, Vietnamese dominates. Across early technical-to-skilled labor transitions, Vietnamese nationals have accounted for over 62% of the workforce, with food manufacturing ranking as their number one occupation. It’s like if 62% of the food manufacturing in Sweden was Japanese and someone said, have em’ make takoyaki.
