      Given that the solstice moves around in the calendar, if this is actually true on July 8th _every_ year, then it is probably also true on July 7th or 9th most years as well. The wording makes it feel a bit more like a single instant than I suspect it really is.

    6. This is horse shit. It seems to be based on „astronomical twilight,“ which no normal person would consider „daylight.“

      Upon further research, this isn’t even technically correct. It’s just wrong. „Daytime“ (and as such, „daylight“) doesn’t start until the sun has started passing the horizon, even if we technically do see light from the sun during dawn.
