      >“whole series of, as I see it, immature escalatory steps“ still being prepared in Warsaw

In response to Ukraine’s mature, deescalatory steps /s

I skończyli jako kraj trzeciego świata. Europa z ruskimi i tak wróci do handlu a Ukraińcy przez dekady się będą podnosić

    3. Feels like Ukraine’s political class has fully decided to abandon their EU hopes, burn bridges and blame the outcome of the war on their own „stabbed in the back“ belief against Poland.

Proud of my country for standing up for itself at last.

    4. I see presidential campaign is in full swing in Ukraine. Everyone wants to score points with big bad Poland lol

    5. Ciekawe jak tm razem redditorzy to obrócą, żeby im wyszło że to putin za tą wypowiedzią stoi.

Support them to the point that the orcs fuck off, then Poland can grill them diplomatically on anything else they want to achieve post war.

Ukraine is really scoring an own goal here, they’re just not going to feel it now.

I wonder what stance our nationalists would take if other countries gave Poland ultimatums to rename some of the „Żołnierze Wyklęci“ sites…

I already know one country that claims to be „surrounded by enemies“. It seems Ukraine’s politicians have decided to build their own version of Russia – but poorer, devastated and without oil.

    9. Ukraine just decided that they prefer Soviet style of politics rather than European one.

Sad to think that hundreds of thousands died fighting for something different. Fighting orcs that wants to bring soviet style just for Ukraine to embrace it on their own. And sad to think that they will blame everyone else for staying in the same poor and corrupt place they were before the war.

Days after Zelwnsky talks about an anti crisis package to resolve issues with Poland, shocking….

      > Ukraine will not bow to pressure from Poland any more than it bowed to demands from a far more powerful Russia

      This is pure cope.

They didn’t bow to Russian demands, sure. But they are alive only because Europe and USA is funding their gov and military for years now. Without that, people like Budanov would be dead 4 years ago

If that moron sees a symmetry between Russia and Poland then, well. He is a moron. I mean, it’s pissing me off, however we should still support Ukrainians to fight Russians as long as possible to weaken Russia as much as possible and for as long as possible, so we have some time to strengthen up. Irrespective how much cynical and cruel this sounds

I watched at Wolski’s today, that Tusk will now lobby in EU to include issue of UPA war crimes into Ukraine accession process. If even polish liberals are against Zelensky, then well, FAFO.

    14. Oh, who cares.

They have lost 1/4 of their territory, their population is 20 mln less than before the war and still shrinking. Couldn’t last 24 hours without western military aid.

Let them and Russians go at each other for years to no end for all I care.

I wish Polish people would understand that our enemy’s enemy is not always our friend.

In ww2 Germany and the USSR were both Polish enemies and each other’s enemies. It’s really not that complicated.
