I hate this. I really fucking hate this. I care, but there is literally nothing I can do about it. I can vote for people do care, but the damage has been done by those who refuse to acknowledge that the problem exists. I can vote, I can protest, I can carry signs and make myself a general nuisance, but it accomplishes nothing! The ones with the power make this right will always put profits over planet, because they believe that the problem isn’t there! I’m incredibly pissed about this, but I’m more pissed about how impotent I am in this fight.
Simplistically speaking, that’s why the global warming of the atmosphere was not that great… because the massive oceans were absorbing a lot of that. What will happen when the oceans will no longer be the heatsink (which seems to be soon)?
