I wonder if one of those handheld laser pointers would wreck the sensor in those? Im sure the brighter ones from aliexpress would destroy the sensor, but what about the normal low power ones?

You are supposed to use a shotgun with bird shot and a mask.
Jeffrey Sovern: *I appreciate everyone’s right to privacy, enshrined in the fourth amendment.*
But is it enshrined there? This is the famous [penumbral right](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penumbra_(law)) cited by Justice William O. Douglas in Griswold v. Connecticut. Since Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, things are a lot murkier.
This is to say I don’t think the status of penumbral right is enough. I think we need another amendment explicitly naming the right to privacy as such.

The fun thing is you don’t have to destroy them — you can take these out with a 1 cent sticky note, a bit of duct tape covering the camera lens or just tagging them with spray paint. Sure, someone can remove it, but that’s expensive to dispatch technicians to do that.

What people should not do is aim laser pointers at the camera. That would damage the image sensor. Do not do that.

This is the surveillance state that Snowden warned us about.
Trump wants to pardon 250 people today then this Air Force gentleman should also be pardoned
It couldn’t have been him, he was with me the whole time . . . at church
Proud of our Airmen brothers and sisters. Thanks for taking the oath and keeping it.
I was going to just tell meth addicts that’s there’s gold, silver and copper in the cameras… but this is more interesting.
Rise up! Flock surveillance rollout is a bad development and will only get worse if people don’t push back.
