And Alberta will still stay that the federal govt has never done anything for them. Pipeline after pipeline at cost to all Canadians and we still do nothing for them .

Another tax payer funded pipeline! We’ll never see a return on investment from the first, so why not a second?

Woo hoo! Thanks for the data centres, Carney! I won’t have Healthcare or housing or climate policy but boy oh boy if you like data centres and submarines we got you covered!

The data centre is being run on natural gas. This would not have been possible before the clean electricity standards were scrapped in the mou. Canada is going to blast past any climate goals we have. Great day for politicians who don’t have imagination or care about the future.

He also mentioned something about affordable housing? I haven’t seen any movement in BC other than corruption by giving money to who ever built those condos.

      Like an infestation they spread,
      plundering wherever they went,
      producing, reproducing,
they say they love their children,
but really they just love money,
      for themselves.

Finally, we need to get that oil out of the ground, refined, and into people’s homes and vehicles where it can do some good.

No one wins from keeping oil trapped. If we are smart, Alberta and Canada will use the revenue gained to invest in sovereign wealth funds and invest in long-term energy strategies.

    8. This is a disaster. Alberta gets a pipeline but the rest of Canada has to build it. All because the government refuses to get out of the way. They basically had to bribe Alberta and BC to the tune of tens of billions of dollars, maybe even over 100B, just to keep quiet. Because federal policies scare away all private investment. What a sad state of affairs that we cannot find a company to build something in this country and we refuse to change our ways.

And on top of it all, we even have to federally subsidize this Pathways garbage since no private company in the world has to deal with this regulatory mess, and our companies certainly won’t invest billions of dollars on a pipe dream.
