Apparently Ankara is now very concerned about regional stability and good neighbourly relations in Cyprus, how convenient. When Turkey wants EU access and trade benefits cosplayed as a constructive partner, suddenly the occupation becomes a problem to solve instead of the policy Ankara has maintained for 52 years
Nothing says good neighbourly relations like invading an island barely a fraction of your size, occupying 37% of it flooding it with troops and settlers and then arriving decades later pretending to be a supporter of peace
