    1. It depends what you deem is safe. The crime that we have seen or heard of hasn’t been random but targeted towards certain individuals over the decades .

Can’t say i feel unsafe as opposed to other places

It’s still safer than most other places, but this does prove that these things can happen anywhere. With the type of people in monaco, it’s safe to assume they may have some enemies

It is exceptionally safe. You don’t differentiate between general safety and organised paid hits and assassination attempts on certain individuals like the person that was targeted yesterday. It takes about a minute to look him up and see that he is a very controversial figure involved in numerous shady deals. The guy is nicknamed the king of thieves and trafficking. No matter where you are, you can’t escape certain things.

S.A.S. Rainier III had the mentality that Monaco would be the place where opulence could be displayed openly and safely, be that in jewellery, cars, or celebrity.

If you cannot feel safe in Monaco you literally cannot feel safe anywhere in the world.

Monaco is way safer than most places on earth.

That being said, the principality has made a habit of being a refuge for all sorts of unsavoury people, especially the kind under international sanctions. When you welcome scum you welcome trouble.
In that sense what happened last night was bound to happen.

But targeted attacks are very rare and the odds of becoming collateral damage are even rarer.
So if you have vacations planned in MC don’t cancel them, and if you live around the principality don’t change your habits. Just steer clear of oligarchs and robber barons.

EDIT : I’ve just read your bio. You can’t steer clear of robber barons in your line of work, lol. Maybe don’t accept any dinner invitation for a while. And use your own transportation.
