It seems like speculation at this point. Hopefully it is not the case. If it is the case, then I hope the responsible parties are held accountable. All of the lethal strikes on civilian vessels, drug running or not, were war crimes. Arguments could be made that Trump himself should top the list of people to be charged, but I don’t see that coming to fruition with the blank check the Supreme Court handed him. Pete Hegseth and everybody else down the chain have no such protection though. “Just following orders” doesn’t cut it when you’re just knowingly and deliberately launching hellfires at civilian boats.
