I’ve seen that in the same place for the last 5 years. Started to look really run down. Windows were open last time I looked, and bet some with addiction lived in it. The owner should pay the costs to have it removed.
The river level dropping and tipping the barge over isn’t something I’d even have considered as a land lubber.

There was one I saw down near Carlow a year back ish that was sunk but it wasn’t due to weather or whatever it was because someone opened the lock accidentally and it destroyed a similar barge.

Speaking as a canal guy they really need to regulate the boats on the canal. Some of them are in dire disrepair and their occupants are basically aqua hobos…. I appreciate there is a housing crisis but this is getting dangerous
