Japan did not deserve to win. They were dominated by Brazil in the second half. Congrats to Brazil

    2. It’s hard to beat an Ancelotti team’s in the second half. They always score a winning goal in the last half hour.

    3. Good. I won’t have to read more of this „they clean up after themselves“ bullshit.

So sad they lost, even sadder we have to see more of the dramatic theatrical brazil players now 😭

Great first half, but the second was rough. I think towards the end they were banking on going to extra time because they really turned on the jets again after Brazil’s second goal, might have gone differently if they’d made that push before they went down.

    6. Not matter the result, a great team was gonna fall, it was a nice game tho, the match was anything but easy for both sides, their defense was spectacular work

    7. Tough last minute loss. This World Cup has gotten this Asian American interested in soccer – partially because I live in one of the host cities. Samurai Blue has a new fan in Houston going forward now!

    8. Good effort by Japan but Brazil is in a different league. Congrats to Brazil 🇧🇷

Convinced most people in here didn’t watch the match. Japan is lucky it was 2-1 based on their second half play. The first half was stronger, but not overwhelming. They were completely outclassed the whole match. Brazil took them as a serious threat from the first minute and it put them on the back foot.

That doesn’t take anything away from them. They are very far ahead of where they were four years ago and four years before that. They have, I think, one of the brightest futures in the whole sport and will only continue to grow from here.
