Because they derive their power from war. I was talking to an elderly person today who is functionally ignorant about world events. However, even that person knows enough to be worried what will happen over the 4th of July because of the 250 year anniversary. They sure hope nobody does anything (namely this) especially not Iran or Russia…..
If there is any kind of attack on American assets anywhere, I think we can assume it is either an inside job or an AIPAC contractor trying to drum up business. Every time I see Gad ben Somebody WARNING me about anything, I start looking for moving vans near my building.

More predictive programming, I’ve been saying since the military action in Iran began that something in the way of a major domestic terrorist attack is probably now forthcoming thanks to the insane actions of this administration in its middle eastern ally first movement (you can decide for yourself which I’m talking about but we sure aren’t seeing the America first agenda they promised their base)
Because their psychological warfare tactics aren’t working like they predicted. What’s left? Violence from the state aimed at injecting fear into the civilian masses which makes them easier to conform.
To be quite honest, as long as the US continues to attack and oppress other countries, they will keep causing the growth of terror movements without any assistance. The US government doesn’t really care because this warmongering and interference gains the wealthy a lot of profit, through various means, including the defence industry, but also industries associated with rebuilding and extraction of resources, among other things, so the lives of ordinary Americans are really quite expendable in the pursuit of those goals. In fact, they probably would find terror attacks desirable because it would be usable to promote their surveillance state agenda, which is also highly profitable and desirable for a fascist state.
Of course they’re going to do it. Why wouldn’t they? It’s worked for them for thousands of years. If then, why not now? It’s mission critical for them right now, they’ve officially lost control.
Will it work though? At winning hearts and minds? I doubt it, I think that ship has finally sailed. Enough are awake.
