I honestly don’t understand people who are so opposed to AI. Like I’ve never heard an actual compelling argument. Further, when I open articles like this, it makes me scratch my head in further puzzlement, when the gripes these people have, aren’t really a thing.
The water issue has been solved, and the power issue could lead to innovation (BC could get on board with the nuclear program).
And consultation? Why do people need to be consulted for this? It’s not like a nuclear waste storage area. The centres aren’t anymore harmful or dangerous to humans than a wind or solar farm.
We simply need more progressive initiatives like this in Canada.
