FF losing their soft vote to SD.

      FG going strong and will
      Improve after the next budget

      The SocDems‘ rise continues unabated.

The socially conservative right’s momentum has stalled, I assume the post fuel protest bump has returned whence it came.

The rest are as you were.

Is the MoE is 3%, these numbers are meaningless. Plus 1% or minus 1% is just random errors, mean nothing. News agencies literally making up news

Jesus Christ will we ever be rid of FFG? It’s not healthy for a democracy to have two identical parties for 100 years.

    5. If any other democracy had a Taoiseach/equivalent’s party polling as low as 14% the government would be collapsed and a general election called.

Time for the press to go after SocDems. Unless they bow to the will of opinion writers and merge with Labour and become an acceptable, controlled lefty party

    7. Do the SDs have enough of a countrywide presence to match their current growth? Could they end up like SF in 2020 with not enough candidates?

That’s a diabolical number for FF. What was the lowest they dropped during the crash in polls? Surely this rivals it.

Does the SD still believe the government’s proposed new savings scheme is bad?

These polls are lovely but seem to mean absolutely nothing rocking into a GE.

    11. The excitement over the SDs on a whole 12% should be tempered by the fact the left hate each other more than the right, and SF are not in reality a left wing party.

    12. How anyone other than the wealthy and elites votes for FF/FG is beyond me!!! They have this country and society in ruin

Having two parties (which are virtually the same) rule a country for 100 years, doesn’t seem like a democracy to me.

SF have been leading every poll for years, FG and FF will keep going together into government just to avoid a SF government.

We’re in deeper political limbo now than ever before. I firmly believe SF are not a legitimate left wing party, I believe they are a Christian right party who masquerade as fiscally left because it’s popular in opposition.

We need a real left, a meaningful fiscal alternative, not necessarily because it will always be the best form of government, but because Countries thrive when two genuine alternatives compete for the public will.

We’ve had ~100 years of two centrist parties competing on the same policies leading to all the bloat and confusion
