    Die Regierung hat ihren Pass der nächsten Generation offiziell vorgestellt!

    Der neue Reisepass behält den bekannten burgunderroten Einband bei, verfügt aber über völlig neu gestaltete Seiten, die Irlands Landschaften, Tierwelt und Naturerbe feiern.

    Das Kunstwerk spiegelt den Wechsel der Jahreszeiten wider und umfasst die heimische Flora und Fauna, wobei der irische Wolfshund mehrere Auftritte hatte, nachdem er eine der beliebtesten Optionen des Publikums war.

    Darüber hinaus werden verbesserte Sicherheitsfunktionen zur Betrugsbekämpfung eingeführt, wobei zum ersten Mal auf der Welt mehrere Technologien in einem Reisepass zum Einsatz kommen.

    Der neu gestaltete Reisepass wird ab heute Freitag, dem 26. Juni, ausgestellt.

      Just as I got a custom passport cover lol. It looks beautiful though, love the Celtic designs

      I’m not due for a new passport for a while, but I look forward to getting one of these. I wish the passport card was a bit prettier, as I’ll be renewing that soon.

      It is much better looking than the new Blue UK passport, which looks and feels really cheap.

      I wish my passport was expiring so I could get one. Sadly I have 3 more years of waiting.

      This is incredible. I wish Aer Lingus would start to take inspiration from this kind of stuff. They’ve been an awfully bland product for many years.

      You look at how well the likes of ANA and Air New Zealand incorporate their national airlines and we get a bland product.

      I love it. I’ve just renewed my passport last October and I’m suspecting there’s going to be an accident rendering that passport invalid very soon 😆

      A touch of irony with a passport inspired by native Irish nature, yet the Irish government are totally inadequate with restoring and protecting its lands.

      The passport is gorgeous! I also love how the sample photo guy manages to simultaneously look like any number of random Irish lads off the street and the President of a Central Asian country.

      I liked the page on the current one that said ‘It’s the entitlement and birthright of every person born on the island of Ireland to be part of the Irish nation’. Is that now gone?

      Jaysus I look nothing like that though, and they got the name wrong. Bold move to go this route
