Does it even matter? The recognition of the genocide is just used as a political tool against turkey. They dont care about the victims or reperations just to piss off turkey and after a few „talks“ they will likely drop the recognition

    3. How noble of them… might be more meaningful if they didn’t sell a shit ton of weapons to Azerbaijan

Typical. Other countries making the suffering of our people into political and hurting the recognition process with it.

Lol i like how its a bargaining chip. But it also loses its value when you so openly use it as a bargaining chip.

    7. hilarious, them „recognizing “ pne genocide while actively committing another lol

Don’t put our names and our suffering in your mouths, we don’t need your recognition, like the Turks clean up your own house before poking around others.

Is there good vs bad genocide recognition? It literally doesn’t matter in any practical way. and you take it versus leave it.

    10. Don’t they always “weigh” this? It’s just a political bargaining chip for them, nothing more.

But also there was an interview about a year or so ago where Netanyahu kind of casually says something like, “Yes, it happened. There, I just recognized it.”

I don’t think Armenians should really care what Israel thinks.

I think every country should recognize the Armenian genocide, but I think it’s counter-productive to do so just to piss off Turkey.

    12. They helped Azerbaijan ethnically cleanse our people from Artsakh, and are committing genocide against the Palestinians. They can fuck right off.
