      And then i started seeing white flashes.

      Nope, just a white flashes.

      Cherenkov radiation. The cosmic rays are striking the aqueous humor in the eye at or close to the speed of light. As the speed of light in water is about 3/4 that in a vacuum, the particles/photons have to loose about a 1/4 of their energy.

      I don’t have to go into space to see white flashes with my eyes closed – a simple migraine does it.
