Just happened. Local authorities report a fire broke out because of falling debris.

These visuals will help with the panic buying. I suspect there are going to be a lot of selfie videos complaining about the queues today. „no fuel, everything is fucked. like and subscribe 👍“

Fucking Russia. The environmental impacts of this unnecessary war that they started are pretty bleak. Look at all that black smoke. So wasteful, so polluting. I hope Ukraine can actually end this at some point and force them to make peace.

always the falling debris story with them isn’t it. funny how debris seems to land precisely on oil infrastructure so regularly you’d think it was a direct hit. that plume of black smoke is brutal just a thick column of pure hydrocarbons burning off you can practically feel the soot settling in your lungs from here. i once drove past a refinery fire in the plains and the sky was just gone for an afternoon replaced by this orange grey haze that stank of tar and stayed in your clothes for days. seeing this you know the local air and soil around krasnodar are taking a hit that’ll outlast any repair bill. and the panic buying comment makes sense when you see a fireball like that on social media everyone with a car is going to start doing quick math on their tank.

As oil gets more scarce and expensive in Russia I can’t help but wonder if there’s also a compounding effect of the more corrupt criminal powers trying to steal away and scalp it wherever they can.
Imagine how tempting it’s getting for some desperate middle-management official to find a way for a truck to „disappear“ so you and a few others can shake off with whats literal gold right now.
Even better when you can just burn an empty truck and blame it on drones.
Russian military probably gotta protect it’s gas from Ukrainians *and* Russians

We need to grade these sanctions like the judges do in the NBA dunk contest

Composition of that shot is pretty nice actually with those 3 pillars of smoke.
