Maybe a touch underwhelming as the first project but overall it’s still a good one.
„This would be the first project Ottawa officially lists as in the national interest. It would allow the federal government to fast-track environmental reviews and federal permitting.“
Hopefully any environmental concerns don’t just pushed completely aside.
I wouldn’t get too excited, it’s an announcement that will most likely lead to another announcement, followed by another announcement.
If we build this the way we build most roads in this country, it will be the lowest bidder who gets the job, they’ll do it very poorly, and it will crumble within a few years.
