      Trump concedes now Putin concedes.
Didn’t have Ukraine and Iran becoming superpowers in 2026.

Putin is ready for talks just like the Strait of Hormuz is opening soon.

    3. >He believes, however, that Ukraine is not in a strong position and is merely trying to project one. According to Putin, „the realities on the battlefield look completely different“.

      wat

They keep harping on the so-called Istanbul talks as if they ever negotiated that in good faith or even went past just introducing the parties to each other. If they wanna obsess over something historical, how about the Budapest Memorandum?

Also, its kinda insane how Russia supporters use that event as a „gotcha“ as if Boris fucking Johnson of all people can somehow influence the Ukrainians to walk away from the negotiating table when at the time, Russian troops were literally right outside Kyiv

All the recent Moscow fires have changed the tone of this conflict

To be a super power you need to be willing to undermine everyone else 24/7, also having things like carriers and ICBM to be a pest everywhere and anywhere.

These countries can’t be that and they’ll keep being sapped over time by the stablished players.

    7. There was no agreement … just an offer that Russia refused. If I understand correctly, Russia is losing so bad that they would now accept Ukraine’s offer of 2022. However, much has changed since.

Talks about how Russia wants territory? How can Putin be trusted?

    9. **Either he’s playing dumb, or he’s a complete moron. Drones are striking every day, there’s no fuel in lots of regions . What the fuck is he even talking about?**

      > So they were satisfied with everything at the time. I see no reason for us to move away from those agreements.

Ehl oh ehl. I’m sure Ukraine was as satisfied as they could be at the time, but how would Ukraine possibly be satisfied with the same deal after Russia hit them with Oreshniks and dragged the war on for 2 more years until it reached inside their country.

      No deal is better.

    11. Ukraine knows they have the upper hand and will just tell putin to get fucked, rightfully

The thing Ukraine rejected when it was more desperate four years ago, he wants them to agree to now that they have a stronger hand.

      That makes perfect sense.

    13. This is a non-story. Russian demands in Istanbul were just that: unreasonable demands that would have ended Ukrainian sovereignty and made it much easier to completely occupy in the future.

I want a new tuxedo, but only based on my measurements from when I was 18. C’mon man, live in the now.

    15. I almost want Ukraine to make him beg, stop hitting yourself style.

You wanna talk? How about Ukraine does the talking.

Utter bollox. Putin will never end the war because he knows that it will end him.

    17. Sounds like Ukraine needs to pull another operation Spiderweb against Russian oil infrastructure. Hell, use their new midrange mid-range strike drones instead. Getting them 20km from the targets should be easier than the original plan. 50-60 such drones launching from INSIDE Russia would devastate those soft targets, taking them offline for weeks or months.

See if Putin changes his tune when 10 oil refineries are giant lakes of burning hydrocarbons.

Just keep doing what you’re doing, Ukraine, it seems to be working.. 🥂
