Luka is walking on a thin line. He knows Putin’s Russia won’t last forever and if things go wrong, there could be pressure on him from Moscow to join the war, which he fundamentally doesn’t want.

How about apologizing for allowing Russia to use Belarusian territory to attack Ukraine?

Don’t read too much into this. He can be saying this while hosting Russian surveillance platforms and mobile drone launches

He sees how ably the Ukrainian army is dealing with Russia’s bullshit and is running scared.

He’s likely setting conditions to pretend Belarus is „neutral ground“ for possible negotiations. He can eat shit though.

    6. Mr. Potato Head walking a fine line here. He must fear Volodymyr more than Vladimir. Furthest distance in Belarus from Ukraine border is 600 km. Ukraine drones and missiles can hit 1500 km away.

    7. I suppose he should also apologise for hosting a Russian invasion force. But when you think about it, he probably didn’t have a choice.

    8. Does he know something that we dont? ^(Imminent collapse of Putin’s regime?)

    9. People should read the article.

Headline is not what Lukashenka said (he dis say that but he also said that ‚war in ukraine is reaping what he sowed‘ and ‚that Zelensky is young and unexperienced‘

He see’s the ship sinking and plans to do a graceful swan dive off of it

He knows which way this is going, and he doesn’t want to be around for the end.

    13. at some point the manpower shortage that russia has (yes, they had a recruitment crisis for almost a year now while losing around 30k per month in ukraine) will lead to them having to pull back troops from other countries they occupy like the russian troops that are currently stationed in belarus to keep lukashenka in power will be needed to keep putin inside russia in power if the mood keeps turning against him.

when that happens lukashenka is going to be neck deep in shit.

Wants to get on the winning side, he saw what happened in Hungary

He called Zelensky not a military man and young and inexperienced. Praise indeed from Europes last dictator. What a moron.

    16. I have a soft spot for the Potato man I will admit.

He’s been stalling Putin for years and has yet to fall out of a tower block window. That takes some skill.

    17. Lol he called Zelensky young and inexperienced. The dude is the most experienced war leader in the world.
