That first pic looked like claymation, thought it was a joke. Anyway.. must be an experience to see them.

I love them! I missed them by two days on Skellig Mhichíl a few years ago but got them on the Saltees last year. They’re amazing

Omg I saw them in person the first time this year along with all of the razorbills and guillemots…breathtaking.

I’m mad to go to Saltees to see them. What’s the story with getting out there, is there a regular ferry?

I saw a lot of puffins when I went to St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada years ago!!

They really are amazing, got the chance to see them and a lot of other sea birds on Rathlin. It was a spectacular day, we say Irish hares in the fields and some buzzards over head too

Tell them to stay until the end of July! That’s when I’ll be there

    8. Saltees are amazing. My dad used to spend summers living in the shack putting ID rings on the birds in the late 70s. You can also see basking sharks. Kilmore Quay had a rough pandemic and it’s sad to see it as a shell of its former self but Mary Barry’s in Kilmore is very good.
