Recent videos from Hartford and Danbury show members of the public confronting ICE agents over Connecticut’s new law barring law enforcement from wearing masks while interacting with the public.
The responses from agents were blunt. In Hartford: “Who’s going to arrest me?” In Danbury: “We’re federal. We’re over state.”
Gov. Ned Lamont’s office called the comments “deeply troubling,” while ICE told CT Insider it will not follow what it called an unconstitutional ban. The federal government is also suing Connecticut, leaving a major question unresolved: who, if anyone, can enforce the law while the court fight plays out?

Rather than be „deeply troubled,“ order the state police to arrest these ICE criminals and throw the book at them.
Ice isn’t supposed to be masked. If a masked man approaches you threatening you in this state. Shoot them. You have a legal right to defend yourself and there’s no reason to assume the masked person threatening to harm you is a real ice agent if they’re blatantly violating the law. Dont go out looking for violence but you have a full legal right to shoot people threatening you right in the temple to defend yourself especially if they refuse to identify themselves as they start to attack.

You know you’re one of the good guys when your defense is „Well no one is stopping me.“ Imagine what these guys are doing to the people they hold prisoner if they legitimately feel laws don’t apply to them.

Arrest people with masks. Process them slowly to determine identity. Make them sit in jail cells. Here’s an idea, let’s build detention centers for ice agents while we determine their identity.

if you are a masked gunman, i think it’s reasonable for people to assume you are just a masked gunman. and respond accordingly. since we cannot rely on the infantile 2Aers because they are the ones likely cosplaying as said gunmen, it falls upon the silent plurality of actually responsible gun owners to intervene. alas.
Probably Connecticut law enforcement for Ice violating their laws. Connecticut has speed limits I don’t think even ice believes they can just drive 150 through a school zone during recess without getting in trouble.
