The paradox of tolerance is a philosophical concept suggesting that if a society extends tolerance to those who are intolerant, it risks enabling the eventual dominance of intolerance; thereby undermining the very principle of tolerance.

The owner of the site is a nazi-saluting Apartheid creep obsessed with white birth rates.
No one should be surprised and decent people should be deleting their X accounts.

The owner of X is a neo nazi who does nazi saluts!
It would be more surprising if X didnt allow racism.

Then you ban it, and every african / mexican loses their mind.
We should be looking to remove / reduce the power of words, not give them more power.

Whenever we have tried to make a word a no no word, all its ever done is make it more powerful.

Sorry but banning a word doesn’t change anything . But you sacrifice free speech for your useless good intentions

The internet can be such a wonderful thing. Twitter on the other hand has added absolutely zero to society.

It the future it will be talked about like arsenic lipstick, lead water pipes, lead gas, lead paint, smoking tobacco. Literally zero net positives and so many long term generational negatives.

The worst part is, you can choose not to smoke, or apply arsenic containing makeup, and it only effects you. Millions of choose to not interact with or support Twitter on any way, yet the negative social impact of Twitter infects all. It’s like second hand smoke, that’s also third, fourth, and fith hand smoke. The damage it is has done to language norms, scientific understanding, peace, expanding a post truth society, ect will last for generations. It’s like of your Victorian relative wore arsenic lipstick. Kissed her granddaughter and every generation all the way to your children’s children get asshole cancer. That’s the effect Twitter has had.

If I created a pedofile concentration camp for disabled children, I would feel better about my self than Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk SHOULD feel about themselves. That’s how harmful I truly feel twitter is for society and the human race.

    7. i mean lack of moderation is what made Twitter appealing to me in the first place

Obviously p*jeet isn’t a great word, but is it really on the same tier of offensive as n*word?

Wait, I got banned from Musk’s Twitter for saying „white trash“ but they let people straight up throw the N-word around?

Fuck that white trash gutter racist Elon Musk.

    10. Its gotta be bots white knighting in this thread passing out down votes or posting in defence of poor Elon.

People just need to not use that platform if they hate it so much. FOMO and social media addiction

    12. Banning the ‚P‘ word is right up there with banning Apu, not sure who’d seriously get offended by it – as someone of Indian heritage.
