Good that we’re taking action, but I can’t help but feel somewhat cynical about the timing given the catastrophic week of news for Starmer’s credentials around defence.
Personally I think European nations should absolutely ruthless on Russian planes and ships in their airspace or waters without permission. Give them a 30 second warning to respond and/or change course or be fired upon.
Zero tolerance for illegal entry by Russia. Putin isn’t going to fire back as he’s not going to risk nuclear war over one jet. Plus Turkey downed a Russian jet a couple of years ago and Putin did nothing.
Sounds like a blockade against Russian ships 👍
