I’m glad I beat the statistics I was a terror as a little kid it was impossible to pay attention in class for me but I graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree and a 4.0 GPA.
Unfortunately we may see the end of intellectualism in America. American culture is being destroyed from within by degeneracy and insidious forces, the same ones that label intellectuals as “weird” and “creepy.” For this reason I identify as Japanese more than American. In Japan, music, comics, games, animation are not just entertainment. They are high art. However, the Japanese spirit has certainly has begun to wither in the wake of the murder of Shinzo Abe. Nonetheless, I am confident the spirit of the samurai will return some day. Abe-dono will always be Prime Minister in the soul of the Japanese.
Can we have a study that shows not all children fit into the shoebox that is public school? Some children can’t be lectured at and learn, they need to do the thing and use their hands.

This doesn’t make sense to me. I was extremely hyperactive k-12. Terrible behaviors and elopement. Now, I have a major, minor, masters and PhD.
Don’t be disheartened by this. It is statistically significant but small in magnitude (β = −0.13 to -0.11)
As a poor kid with undiagnosed neurodivergence who is currently a year out from my PhD in astrophysics because I served in the military: yeah, so what?
Wait kids who can’t stay in control have more control over their lives vs those that lack control struggle to maintain control of their lives?
i burned out by the early afternoon in elementary school every day and never finished high school (am only trying to finish now at 22). this totally tracks to me and probably correlates with people with adhd (or those with adhd like traits) having a tougher time in school as a whole.
