These are not ordinary times by any means. They are going full steam ahead towards the North American technate.
We are currently in full scale war against two countries, one of which is next door, being starved of fuel. A third is in a partial state of war with a captured leader. A fourth and fifth are being threatened with annexation. The timeline is getting compressed.
Remember the press before the Iran debacle? The power outages and blackouts happening in Cuba? They were priming us for a „rescue mission“ to do a regime change in Cuba. But then Bibi forced Trumps hand in Iran.

The US may think it will crush Cuba this way but, like other countries, they are finding ways around it quite effectively.
Cuba is rapidly transforming itself into a solar / wind energy economy. The Chinese have huge inventories of solar panels right now, making them very cheap and Cuba, is desperate.
Trump is speeding the decline of oil in Cuba and it does not appear to be making any headway other than through threats of violence.
