      They could’ve paid for a lot of renovations if they auction off the opportunity to chisel off a letter.

      Good. However, the fact that it was even allowed to happen to begin with is fucking disgraceful. Checks and balances are only good if they prevent shit like this from happening, not rectifying it after the fact after wasting people’s money. Also, name and shame the fucking company who agrees to put up his name in the first place.
