Imagine if billionaires spent their money to help other people instead of screwing them.

    2. God, looking at her makes me so uncomfortable— not because she’s ugly, but because she’s so morally bankrupt.

    3. They’re terrified the senate is going to flip.

Our job is to flip it by any means necessary.

    4. What’s crazy and very depressing is that if people just voted consistently, no amount of money could change most elections.

But they want you to think voting is meaningless and a lot of people are gullible enough to believe it.

The system of donations to political parties needs major changes. Politics is now at the call of the highest bidder . Done through donations and funding . The billionaires are not giving away money for laughs and giggles they want something in return.

    6. You didn’t realize we were living in an oligarchy when Elon musk took a chainsaw to the people’s government?

    7. Total estimated number of billionairs in US: [989](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_number_of_billionaires).
Basically 10% of all billionairs in the US gathered around a single politician. Pouring money in to her compaign. All to ensure a single party keeps a mayority control.

Yes. US is a oligarchy. A country ruled by a wealthy elite. Your votes doesn’t matter any more, unless you get the politicans that billionairs support out of here.

Ken Griffin who is moving his hedge fund to Miami because Mamdami wanted to tax his $235 million second home in NYC. Also reminder that the $235 million apartment was sold to him by convicted rapists the Alexander Brothers.

Billionaires are a threat to democracy and ought to be outlawed.

No functioning democracy can thrive when we have a class of ultra wealthy people like this.

    10. This is all the proof you need to decide for whom you should vote for. If they want her, the people shouldn’t.

Ken Griffin is a cockroach. He just won’t go away. I wish Thiel would take him to Argentina with him because he truly is an awful corrupt mofo.

Angelou was right, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”

We’ve always been an oligarchy with a veneer of democratic elections. The wealthy and influential are those who can afford to play in politics. But the veneer is better this naked version, for sure.

This is what oligarchy looks like and she voted against the minimum wage increase. When you’re funded by billionaires, you work for billionaires, and she’ll still claim she’s an independent voice 😃

Of course she’s 73. I’m so sick of old fucks running my life. At least give me some *young* fucks.

I guessed it’s good people are starting to notice.

Insert „it always has been“ meme

Elon Musk could almost fully fund food stamps to feed millions with his annual salary (he makes MY annual salary in roughly 2 minutes by my math)

    18. She’s one of their best: had an affair while her husband died of a terminal illness, went against all her campaign promises, and looks like fucking death.

Accountability has to be established and ageism in the current times is perfectly acceptable to call out her ineffectiveness as a leader and diminish this old crow’s influence.

    19. Affectionate-Act1574 on

I feel like the voters who support this are under the assumption that they are part of the 1%

    20. Just a reminder: 1 million seconds is about 11 days. 1 billion seconds is about 32 years.

      Make them all go away.

I’m no billionaire but I donated to Platner yesterday. Collins has been a stick in the mud of progress for too long.

    22. Nearly 100 billionaires backing a candidate is probably the biggest red flag there is.

    23. Crazy how people can just waste money like that and never even notice the money is missing.

    24. Further proving she doesn’t work for the people but instead works for her billionaire masters

    25. yosarian_reddit on

The billionaires are terrified of progressives like Platner. He wants to actually tax them, which they just can’t abide. Tax is only for the little people

We need to manipulate MAGA idiots as well as FOX does, so here is my attempt: SUSAN COLLINS IS A GAY COMMUNIST WHO IS HOARDING BIG PHARMA SECRETS ABOUT CURING BALDNESS.

      Pass it on.

    27. Interesting_Basis_44 on

She needs to retire, to old for government stuff. Yes I am 67 female.

    28. The amount of hit pieces on Platner are staggering. And so many of them are written as if they’re from a Democrat’s perspective trying to get Dems and independents to question him. It’s so obvious to me that they’re all written by GOP backed people, but man are they trying so hard to keep him out. Every new hit piece I see on him makes me like him even more, because it shows how scared the GOP and rich folks are scared of him.

    29. Never forget: these people could pay to feed every person on the planet *and still be obnoxiously rich* — but they choose not to cut their numbers for the sake of the fucking high score table.

They could be adored by a grateful world for their generosity, but choose selfishness instead.

Sounds like sociopathy to me, tbh.

Including the ones who own the NYT and Atlantic magazine, apparently.

I live in maine. In third grade we learned that Susan Collins is our senator. I’m almost 29 now and SHES STILL OUR FUCKING SENATOR.

    32. Any vote for republican is a vote for trump. It doesn’t matter if this is his last term or not.
