Now that we got that out of the way, we’re seeing some pretty creative robot designs that draw influence from all across the animal kingdom as well as human vehicles and even science fiction. Some quadrupeds are getting very close to classic Autobot/Go-Bot body plans while others (cough Boston Dynamics cough Robosen Optimus Prime) appear to draw from The Exorcist with twisting body parts and exotic transformation schemes.
