Makes sense. Nothing Carney has done so far indicates he would care whatsoever if there was forced labour or humans rights violations. He’s gotta look out for the giant corporations first and foremost, and that’s been apparent in the ways he’s governed and will continue to govern.
Canadian mining companies have such a good reputation abroad as it is.
Im sure nothing bad will happen to the people or environment in countries where they operate.
