      well russia started both, the WW2 by invading Poland with Hitler (which you can’t mention in russia, or it’s gulag), so it’s just trying to better own record.

      It’s great to see Ukraine stand up and punching back. But it’s really sad to see that it has had to do so. What a waste of lives, all for the whim of one person.

      Well unfortunately there won’t be some happy ending for Ukraine. Their main advantage is the fortification network across the Donbass…biggest ones ever created. But Russia is reaching the final defensive lines. I think it’s gonna take them at least another year to get the remaining cities but after they cleared the entire Donbass…..how is Ukraine gonna hold off the Russian advance? I don’t see them doing that. And there is no way Zelensky is ever gonna sign some peace treaty where they accept defeat and give up land. So this will be a fight til the end, until Ukraine is no more.

      Feels like it could go on for another few years, unless Russia either gives up and settles or escalates with rather unpopular mobilisation.
