So now it’ll be cloud based? I’d never image this company would do the RIGHT thing.

    3. If I discover anyone wearing these glasses I’m gonna leave the room. My trust in Meta is about as low as humanly possible!

That feature was public knowledge for ages, it was even mentioned in a Tunnel Vision video 4 weeks ago, not just “they could do this” but saying it’s called Name Tag and that Meta are waiting to release it when public attention would be elsewhere so that it faces the least amount of backlash

Let’s be realistic: they didn’t pull shit, they just buried it deeper.

      DON’T BELIEVE YOU META.

      DON’T TRUST YOU.

AIN’T GONNA FALL FOR YOUR LIES FOR THE HUNDREDTH TIME.

Thry claimed not to have it and the minute they’ve been called out lying, claimed to have pulled it out.

      Of course.

One day to remove it. One week to conjure up why it’s a necessity. One month to put it behind a subscription.

I just realized the other day you can no longer reverse image search people, all you can do is products. They’ll gladly send you their approved vendors.

Tech bros, bringing your worst dystopian nightmares to life and making you live in them.

    11. I doubt it, they’ve likely just hidden something similar somewhere else.

These glasses should be illegal unless they remove the camera.

    12. Back when Google Glass was first introduced a German filmmaker made a mockumentary about smart glasses called „Operation Naked“.

      It’s slowly becoming reality.

    13. „one day after“ lmao they really found it that quick, guess the privacy theater only lasts 24 hours now

I vote that anyone who wears these things in public are willingly subjecting themselves to getting them torn off and stomped on.

Who needs Big Brother when you can just have the general populace wear a „stylish“ hidden camera on their person at all times.

Beats me why people use any meta product and then proceed to complain they’re shitty. I mean, if you choose to eat a turd, don’t expect it to taste like steak.

Meta would have never done anything if they weren’t exposed. Ratty ass company.

    17. Oh, it will be back. These guys saw the Minority Report ad/surveillance tech and creamed their pants.

As someone who got these because I thought they were cool and could play music, I should be able to return these dystopia glasses.

    19. Evil company that the government has failed to control because he’s a billionaire and they want his money

Actually I’m pretty bad with names and faces. If it would just tell me who the hell Im talking to that would be great.
