A short appreciation post for Voyager 2. I just can’t believe that 49 years have passed since its launch and that it is now in interstellar space, still sending back actual scientific data. It is the only spacecraft to have visited all four outer (Giant) planets; therefore, it has earned legendary status.
Just for some perspective, I was a clueless 13 yr old kid when it launched. Jimmy Carter was president.
I’m now 62.
