The uptick in daily attacks is substantial and only going to get more frequent. There is a real sense now of how much can Putin hold on to power. No doubt there will be some heinous attack on the innocent but it’s hard to see even him being able to hold power with the current status of the war and the current path.

I’d actually prefer we not mess with Dagestan. Particularly the Avars.

It really saddens me thinking about all the deaths from this. I’m sure many ants and other insects were incinerated

Waiting for this to be confirmed by a whiny fat lipped babushka.

perhaps now more and more russians are sensing that something is amis while ignoring sudden nuances occurring in their daily lives, recently

It’s hard to think about with all the senseless human suffering rightfully front and center, but war is an unmitigated ecological disaster. From burning refineries to oil spills from sunken ships – that dam they broke and flooded huge swaths of habitat… recycling putin into fertilizer would be a massive environmental win.

I wonder how this works? Doesn’t anybody notice a drop in pressure and would shut some valve?
I guess it depends on the distance of e.g. the next pumping station and what’s inside the pipeline might still be enough to burn for hours?
